This second week has inspired me with the Web search, the ABCD objective setting, the revised Bloom’s taxonomy, and the starting course project going on.
The Web search of
this week will probably be an endless passion for all of us who participate in
this course, because there are a lot to discover on the Internet thanks to NoodleTools and company. Don’t you agree with
me?
Objective setting with the ABCD model use has helped
me frame the way I should work on making everything I do in class teaching prep clearer.
The revised Bloom’s taxonomy, that I heard for the
first during my participation in a Critical Thinking online training with
Deborah Healey (UO), is always useful for us to know how measurable our
students’ learning behaviors should be.

ReplyDeleteI appreciate your concise and precise reflections, however, never mention the word shame with learning. We were born to learn and we will be learning until last moments of our life. The more we learn the more we discover that we know nothing but being late is better than nothing.
What matters is to be active not passive, to open minded an updated and most importantly to have scientific spirit to learn from others, to accept their point of view and criticism.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, with Warda, and with Annusha. The web-search engines we explored this week amaze all of us and are of great use in out professional life. They would make our life easier while searching on the internet.
Also, the ABCD model of forming objectives is very helpful fo all teachers while planning thier lessons and it is also easy to follow.
